Happy Valentine's Day 2013

The kids and I had so much fun preparing for Valentine's Day this year!

Trey and I worked together to fill a bag full of LOVE for Mrs. Bos!  We stuffed it full of things we thought she would love -- stickers, scented markers, shaped post-its, colorful paperclips and binder clips, and other fun teacher things that we've spotted over the past few weeks.  Oh, and chocolate!  Another teacher necessity!
Trey decorated the bag and used her favorite colors, blue and orange.

Simple was the theme this year when it came to valentines from the kids.  Never before would I have been satisfied with something so generic, but I must say....it was awesome and super easy!  And the kids loved putting them together!  They were so excited about them!

Trey chose Airhead valentines and we added fun push pencils.

Rowan chose Skittles for her friends.

Her sweet little handwritten name!  LOVE!

We started our V-Day at home with a special treat for my stud muffin hubby!  YUMMY muffins from Big Apple Bagels!

Trey chose one for himself after he woke up.  He's a stud muffin too, for sure!

I made a shirt for Rowan at the last minute, and she loved wearing it for her class party.

I had a fun and busy day hosting my own class party!  I passed out these valentines to my students.

And, OH, the joy the kids felt looking through their valentines over and over and over again!  They were gifted with LOTS of temporary tattoos this year, and I successfully convinced them to only put them on places that can be hidden. :)

It was a fabulous day of LOVE!!

Simple, but still so fun! Love Rowan's shirt! Love the "stud muffin" valentine and treat! How did you get the kids' names typed on the valentines? Cool!
