Kleinheksel Christmas 2012

We celebrated Christmas with my family the Saturday after Christmas.  We had a fun-filled day planned!  Our plans changed a little when the bowling alley was packed...we decided to just skip bowling all together and get straight to lunch at Vitale's and then gifts and fun at our house!

My parents had stopped by earlier in the day to drop off all their gifts.  Everyone was a bit stunned by how much space they took up!  Lots of grandkids equals lots of gifts!  Very spoiled and loved!!

Rowan's first gift may be her very favorite of all this Christmas.  She loves stuffed animals and she LOVES this kitty that she named Lasagna.  Not sure what made her decide on that name, but she and this cat are pretty much inseparable!

My mom always makes pajama pants for all of the grandkids for Christmas.  In the past, she has chosen one fabric for the boys and one for the girls.  This year, she took each child out individually and let them choose their own fabric.
Trey wanted something "fluffy".  These pants are perfect for him.  Cozy, warm, and University of Michigan!

The cousins always draw names.  Rowan had Brady's name this year.

Faith had Rowan's name and got her a Minnie snap doll set.  She has 3 now, and loves playing with them together.

Rowan's pants!  The footballs surprised me!  The boys in our house are rubbing off on her, I think. :)

Elyse had Trey's name this year.  He loves this new nerf gun!

More bey blades!  These were great for all of the visitors we had over break.  Plenty of bey blades to share with everyone!

Trey had Faith's name and gave her this cute cow ("moo" as Faith calls it) pillow pet.

A new tea set for Rowan.

We had a few fun activities planned for after gifts.  My parents planned BINGO, John and I did a trivia game, and Nate and Lynnae brought this fun game for the kids.

We had a super fun day with my family.  Lots of crazy, busy kids that love spending time together!  And us adults like spending time together too!  I love Christmas celebrations!

I love how your mom took each kid out individually to pick out the fabric for their p.j. pants! So special!
