Finding this in the stack of papers that came home from Imagination Station the other day just made me smile. Trey loves to draw pictures of our family, and lately he often uses each of our favorite colors to draw our bodies. John and Trey are blue, I am green, and Rowan is purple. He is getting better and better at adding details like the correct color hair. We all have faces with eyes, noses, and mouths -- this is an improvement over the faces he used to draw with only eyes! Still no arms, but he'll get there.
I love this little boy and how, out of all the things he could choose to draw, he chooses to draw his family.
Even if he does give me the biggest belly of all of us. :)
